Carrier Bearing/Bushing??

Where the short drive shaft out of transfer case meets the short connection shaft of the rear drive shaft is that called the carrier bearing?...Mine looks to be seriously worn out I can move the shaft up & down...The rubber looks all cracked up and there are 2 clamps just dangling around.....What all is involved in replacing?

Thanks

Howard

Yes, that's it. You'll need at least a 3/4" drive breakover bar w/cheater pipe and a vise to get it off. I can't tell you how many 1/2 sockets and bars I broke trying to get the nut off. I even broke my vise that day That nut laughed at my 1/2" impact and the whole ordeal cost me about $500

New vice $200
New 3/4" breakover bar $70
New 3/4" socket set $200
Showing the drive shaft who is the boss....priceless

I just did mine, I bought the whole carrier bearing setup from napa for around 100
