New Transfer Case Shift Motor?

Hey guys,

I've been doing searches for the past couple hours and all the Ford forums I know of. Here's my problem:

4wd is not engaging at all. The dash light does not come on. The hubs still spins easily and even when manually locked, I cannot get 4wd to work. I checked the fuses and they are good.

I was under the truck and had my buddy turn the 4wd switch...there is no noise coming from the transfer case.

Through all the reading I've done, it sounds like I need a new transfer case shift motor. Does that sound right?
