HIGH PITCH WHINE???

So on my 03 Crew I noticed a high pitch whine coming from....well Im guessing from the rear of cab? Hard to tell. But Im pretty sure not from the rear end. Anyway only makes the whine whilel under acceleration. Anyone have a carrier bearing to make a high pitch whine when its going bad? Maybe Ill just spray some lube on it and see if that shuts the noise up. If not then Ill know to look else where.

jack it up put stands under it, while running in gear see if u can pin point the noise. i had to do this on my truck but mine was the transfer case, thought it was the carrier it was'nt. yours could be the carrier, usually they make a more grinding noise. oh yea check rear end lube, t case etc.
