front axle play

I was wondering if it pretty normal to have maybe a 1/4" play in and out on the stub axle on the passenger side. I just replaced the hub and have no play up and down just in and out. I put all the washers back in and everything else exactly as it came out. Any ideas are appreciated. The truck is an early '99 f250 with late '99 hub and rotor.

That's the thing, the drivers side has no play at all.
