i have an 01 drw i am sure its a dana 80 in back i have 4:10 gears but what i dont know is if i have a traction lock diff, the cover is a aluminum finned cover and i dont know if this is a stock cover or someone installed it because when they did it they never put the identification tags back on. but here is my concern when backing up and turning or even going forward and turning it feels like there is binding in the rear end i am thinking i have a ratcheting rearend like the locker or some other type of rear end. is this ratchet feeling a characteristic of the traction lock rear end? other than that i have no issues i serviced it with 75-140 and had to put an additive for the traction lock they said. any of this make sense to yall Mark
more additive huh hmm there is no sound but you can feel it when you turn. only when you turn slowly. limited slip isnt the same as traction lock?
