auto lock hubs

02 f250 auto locks will not release ,i can take them off push in on them and the latches releases them ? The vacuum pump is doing its job and the solenoid is doing its .When i put it in 4x4 it locks right in and turn the switch to 2wd and the stay locked .I can take the hoses off ,and the same ,no vacuum leaks ?

Me too. I would give my left . . . (well you know) for standard hubs on my EX like my 95 F350! I fix these auto hubs and before I turn around they don't work . . . when they do work they freeze in the free position. &%##$** things!
