Ball Joint Grease Zerks

WTF? I was just under my truck with the grease gun to do some maintenance. I had my ball joints replaced and all but the driver's side upper ball joint have a grease zerk. It does have what looks like a small bolt there instead of a grease zerk. Can I replace this bolt to install a grease zerk?

I put the 90 degree zerks in mine... just ground off a little of the material that may or may not get hit by the u-joints... been working just fine!

I remove the plugs on my uppers and temporarily install a 90 degree to grease. Then, remove the 90 and reinstall the plug. I tried to grind a 90 down but, it was just So Close I didn't dare leave it because if it broke off I'd be screwed and not able to continue to grease at All...

I've gotten pretty good at it and it only takes a couple of extra mins and I'm Sure worth it!
