wheel bearing question

Changing the wheel bearings in my 01 250 with maual lock 4x4...is there supposed to be a washer between the back ofthe wheel bearing and knuckle seal? Cus there aint one in there on mine when i pulled it apart and i saw a pic of someones write up on there 00 or 02 and they had one

I bought the new seals and had them pressed on at a local auto store and theres like an 1/8in gap between the knuckle seal and yoke end.....is that right or did they not press it on all the way?

Also does anyone know where i can pick up a knuckle seal installer because i want to make sure the seals are at the correct depth in the knuckle.....i found them online but id like to drive somewhere to pick one up instead of waiting. Anyone know of a store that would carry em?
