Wont come out of 4low

A buddy of mine has a 02 350 6 speed and it will not come out off 4low. It went in alright but it does not want to come out. Need Help PLease.

is he putting it in nuetral? he may have to try rockin it from fwd to rev to try n get it to give it up.

put it in nuetral flip switch to 2wd. shift to reverse move truck a lil go to nuetral wait. go into forward and move the truck a lil back to nuetral mght have to flip the switch a few times. just play with it.

4-LOW

HAD THAT HAPPEN to my 99 had to drive it 30 miles home like that. Dis-connect the batteries for a spell. its something to do with the solniod? You should hear it make a noise when it disengages. i knew right off. worked for me. Haven;t use 4-low since but.. it worked for me. I tried rocking it back & forth to & fro nothing once i got it home i dis-connected the bateries and iheard a click

Disconnect the batteries for about 10 mins and then try it again. I had this happen with my one time and that cured it.

had it happen the battery trick didnt work so i took the little motor off and there is a spindle that will be showing i just used some vice grips and turned it till i was back in 2wd then got a new motor to replace it
