Rookie question about injectors
When you have a leaking injector is that from the o-rings or can leaks develop elsewhere on the injector?
Sorry for the beginner question Thanks, DEVLYN |

Can't learn things if you don't ask! I honestly don't know the answer off hand, but I'm sure someone will come along shortly. Best of luck to ya!

It could be possible but very unlikely. Why do you ask??

Thanks you guys!!! the reason I ask is I would like to rebuild the injectors myself one because I don't want to pay the amount of money that they want for remans, and two I just think it would give me a better understanding how they function. Let me rephrase the earlier question are the internal/external o-rings the only thing that wears or are there internal parts that need to be replaced or wear?
If internal parts need to be replaced can anyone tell me what those parts are? Thanks again, DEVLYN |

Read THIS little article, kinda goes over what's inside an injector along with a couple cut-away's. Personally I wouldn't be comfortable doing it myself.
