Need help 7.3 P/S shut down won't start back

96 F-250 Powerstroke Shut down in the road and won't start back.... Any ideas? Thanks, Bill

could be a cps, or something else. Need to scan for codes.

does your tach move you crank the engine?? if not, your CPS is dead. $30 at the dealer and a few minutes to change.

!

Check the maxi fuse under the hood that covers the fuel bowl heater and the pcm relay. If its blown disconnect the fuel bowl heater on the side of the fuel bowl and put a new fuse in it.

I just went out and spun it over.... And the tach is working as it spins

Shut down won't start

Checked all fuses, None bad, Bowl full of fuel, Warm up light comes on, Its spinning Fast enough to start, but will not fire.

Not to sound stupid but check ur oil make sure its not low low oil shut off,or could possibly b cps.
