Yesterday I drained all the old diesel put a new fuel filter in and new diesel. Installed the new glow plug relay. I crank and crank I don't get any smoke when cranking. But when I give it one shot of either it will crank start for a second and die out. Please help me I put so much money and time into this truck any advice or suggestions will be highly appreciated it.

There should be a yellow handle to open the valve on the left side of the bowl if your looking at it from the front back. You could of got air in it. Have you tried to cycle the key 5 or 6 times before you start it. If ether works then i would say a fuel delivery issue since it is not cold outside right now. I will also say that i had a no start issue changed batteries and glow plugs. Still no good but ether would work for my testing purposes. Ended up being a starter. Not saying that is your issue but does your sound like it is cranking good? Should be quick not sluggish.

There's only one fuel pump. Test pressure at the schrader valve on the fuel pressure regulator (side of the fuel bowl).

Basics -
* Does the WTS light come on?
* Does the tach move when you crank it?
* Do you get any smoke out the tail pipe?
