funny idle at start??

I have a 95 7.3 turbo stroke. It runs like a top, and pulls hard, but I am having a wierd problem at startups. It fires right up but it does this wierd lope or chug for about three to four seconds and then smooths right out to normal. It doesnt matter if its the first start of the day or if it is totally warmed up. sometimes it does it worse than other times. Sometimes it doesnt do it at all. I have a buddy with the same truck and it starts smooth. I was hoping you guys could help me out on this one. Like I said the truck runs fine its just annoying. Thanks in advance for your help.

Mine did that when I had the breather off to replace o-rings. Check bolts

The breather is the little box on the drivers side valve cover. Check that bolts to it are tight. Ive had it happen when running out of fuel as well. Other than that idk.

No its a lot less obvious than that but similar. It smooths out in a couple seconds. Im afraid that if I dont do something about the problem it will be that bad eventually.
