Trans Inspection Cover ZF5

Ok as the title states. Where can I get a ZF5 Flywheel Inspection Plate. I have a 97, 7.3, 5-Speed. I was going about 55MPH on a small highway and I heard a PING. Then I saw the plate fly to my left and slightly over the hood. I thought it was the fan shroud at first getting chewed by the fan...... there were 2 of 3 bolts holding the plate on..... It got ripped off it looks like. The 2 bolts had metal around them when I removed them. The 3rd bolt wasn't even in there, no stripped threads or broken head.

Additionally do I have a problem with the flywheel or clutch? I looked in there with a light and didn't see any unusual wear or damages. Or could a rock have bumped the plate enough to force it into the ring gear and chew it off?

Call the ford dealer for the part, I wasn't able to find them cheaper anywhere else. As if something is wrong well you would definitely hear it if it go ripped off. Years of it getting hit or something probably just wore on it

They got me for 39.99 for the one for my 4r100. If its discontinued you will have to hit up some salvage yards. They wanted $35 for one from the junk yard around here
