0279 code

Truck runs crazy rough out of the blue. Used AE scanner and 0279 inj 7 low volt circuit. What do I need to fix? I searched and could not find the other threads I had referenced earlier. IDM, harness or what. Please help, I had a new born Sunday and the wife really wants the OBS for safety.

Replaced VC harness(both passenger side), VC gasket and new pigtails. The harness, gasket and pigtail were all melted bad on the front and I replaced the rear ones also due to slight melting on the UVCH and discoloring of the pigtail pins. Truck runs great now. I wonder if the melting was made worse by driving the truck 5 miles after rough running started?

The driving normally wouldn't do any more damage. It's mostly on the starting, when all the big current is going through the glowplug wiring (2 outermost brown wires on each connector). Those wires are usually the problem when shorting into the other injector wiring. Cheers!
