ICP o-rings keep breaking

hey, i got a 1995 powerstroke. ICP went bad so i bought a new one. Aftermarket not oem, installed at spec torque. First o-ring broke in three days. Bought some more and have been through about 5. last for about a day a piece and cause a massive oil leak when they bust. Need to know i this is common or if i need a performance o-ring. put old sensor back in and no leak. Thanks.

You need a Viton O-ring [(Ford) F4TZ-9N693-A, (International) 1815874C1 (o-ring for HPOP hose to head joint, port plugs and ICP)]. Also, lightly oil it when installing it. Make sure there are no burrs or other issues on the o-ring sealing surface of the new ICP. Cheers!
