Truck Won't Crank

Got in the truck this morning back it up to the boat pulled the boat to the front yard left the truck runnin, loaded the truck & was locking up the house & noticed the truck was running rough, opened the door & pushed the throttle & it made all sorts of rough noise like it was running out of fuel & it was pouring a grayish white smoke so bad my buddies truck had soot all over it... Turned it off..... I also replaced the lift pump Friday. Poped the good to see if something was leaking & everything was good, tried to crank the truck up again & it won't crank, just puffs out white smoke??? Any ideas or reasoning would greatly be appreciated!!!!

It's located on the front of the motor. Fairly easy to get to and is a common issue with these trucks when it comes to random shut downs and other running issues. I have been lucky and haven't needed to change mine yet but the motorcraft cps is the one to go with, the other brands seem to cause issues or just don't work.

I am still learning quite a bit since buying my truck over 3 years ago. There are sensors and stuff i'm cleaning out that should have been done the first day I bought it.

You can cruise the forum or shoot me a pm and i'll tell you what i've done and how it's helped.
