leaks fuel when shut off

my 95 psd has a fuel smell when running but doesnt leak while running, once I shut her down and an hour later there is a small pool of fuel under the truck??? any ideas's?

theres a plastic drain valve on the filter bowl...it is a common place to find a leak. Theres two 0 rings that fail inside it. Easy to replace for 50 bucks from Ford or maybe NAPA carries the vave cheaper.

If it's leaking out the drain tube or from the valve, that's probably it.

Here's how it's fixed on the '99-03, should be the same O-rings?

Re: something to check

Look on top of the motor around the rear of the water seperator and fuel pump, look for pooling of fuel. If it's has some then it might be the fuel pump. As you will find there are many threads on this topic
