low boost pressure?

When cruising on the highway 55-60mph the needle on my boost pressure barely leaves the zero mark. The highest I've seen it go was around 5-7 and that was goin up an incline pretty hard. Any suggestions?

Also what's this cps recall that was supposed to be for our trucks? Thanks

The cps recall is simple.....take your teuck to your local friendly ford dealership and tell them you got a cps recall and they will give you a new one. What was the highest boost you saw with the TW? I have seen as high as 27 with it my truck, when crusing it's normal to see 0 boost the turbo only builds boost when the motor is in a pull.

yea with the tw it would get up to 15 but nowhere near 27. I'm wondering if the guy that installed my gauges installed the boost gauge wrong. My trans gauge still doesn't work either..

Did a shop install the guages or was it done in the driveway? If it was done at a shop I would take it back have them fix the trans guage and look at the boost guage. I could build 12-15 all day long with the 1705. I would think you could build at least 10.

A guy installed it for me that I met at a truck pull event and it was at his house, but he runs his own business in his driveway I guess? I trusted him becasue he built his own truck from the ground up and he intalled gauges on a obs before

not that it matters or not but on my street tune i can accelerate at 3/4 throttle and hit over 30 psi, i floored it once and saw 38 and i backed off quickly

Check to see if it is spliced into your map sensor line, thats the best place to put it in an OBS
