Fuel filter light still on after filter change.

My fuel filter light came on while I was in town the other day so I stopped and picked up a filter. When I got home I drained the filter canister and changed the filter. That night the wife and a went out to pick up a pizza and the light started flickering back on while we were out. The next day the was no light until about noon and it has been on steady since. What do I need to do?

There are two different lights on my truck. One for fuel filter and one for water in fuel.

Fuel filter vacuum switch may have gone bad.
