Heater Problems

My heater in my truck works sometimes and sometimes it doesnt. The truck is warm enough. Sometimes when i am drivin it is hot as heck and when i stop it gets ice cold. I can hear it change from A/C to heater just not the temperature...whats up with it?

possible vacuum leak to blend door , on that model there is a white vacuum line on passnger side in front of heater box , its bad to dryrot and crack and cause a vacuum leak

possibly yes , just a starting point , no heaer control valve , all dash components are vacuum operated for heat or cold , so id start checking for a vacuum leak
