Several new to me issues / questions...

Ok, well today I took a sharp turn and noticed a pop. Come to find out my front axle drivers side u-joint is bad. While I was checking that out I noticed that there is oil all under my truck that has not been there before. Can't pin point where that leak is, maybe power steering pump or front of oil cooler. I then notice what looks like another leak from on top of the engine. After inspection it looks like maybe my rubber hoses for my fuel pump may need changing (cracked looking). Then I notice my A/C line to the condenser looks green. You guessed it, another wonderful leak!!!

So I have some questions that didn't come up using the search feature on my phone:
1. When I go to replace the bad u-joint, it looks like I will have to remove the hub assembly. Will this require a special tool for the ball joints? Any tips or pointers?
2. Is there any known problem areas in the front of the oil cooler or on the back of the power steering pump?
3. Is there anything I should do while repairing all of this other crap that wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg? After all this I may not have any limbs left anyway. Especially needing all these repairs at Christmas!!!

And one more thing, with it being Christmas, and having a wife and 3 kids, and this being my daily driver, I need to keep the repairs as simple and cheap as possible while maintaining daily reliability.

Thanks in advance guys.

Checked my oil this morning and it was a little low, also checked power steering fluid and it looked ok. So I guess it's an oil leak.

I think I have determined the oil leak to be the front of the oil cooler. So I ordered the blue fuel lines for the fuel pump, the o-ring seal kit for the fuel regulator and filter housing, oil cooler seal kit, fuel pump crush washer kit, fuel filter, and a 6637 filter from RiffRaff diesel this morning. Hopefully this won't be TOO bad of a job...

I also have found some people talking about the drivers side u-joint replacement where the ball joints were not removed so that may not be so bad either.
