PCM keep memory alive code

with my edge evo. programmer, everytime i run the diagnostic scanner, it comes up with; PCM keep memory alive. i thought this code popped up only when you unhooked the batteries? i will clear this code from the scanner, and it will pop right back up everytime. any ideas what could be causing this to re-accur? batteries on the way out maybe? thanks in advance for any suggestions

if your using the edge to do it it is resetting everytime you do it , thats one of those things you dont fix if its not broke, after so many drive cycles it goes away on its own

the code means that power has been disabled from pcm, in other words , changing tunes , or such as that can set that code when using a programmer, definition is exactly what it says , the keep alive memory is what is stored in the pcm, your tune is basically keep alive memory , it knows every time you start it what tune is in the truck , does that make better since
