Battery Light on Dash

Hey ya'll,

I just replaced my alternator on my OBS ('95 F-350 CC LB 4x4 w/ E4OD & 7.3L) and now the battery light is on and its still hard to start..... I looked in the owners manual and it said that the light means the charging system is not charging properly....

any insight into trying to solve the problem would be helpful

You may check the batteries. If your batteries are bad it can make your alternator work harder to where it finally burns it up. If your alternator is going bad it can make your batteries work harder making them go bad. If one battery is weaker than the other it will cause the good battery to become weak also.
