Wont run right!!

Hello!
My truck is 1994 1/2 f 350 7.3, i started it up this morning -2 left it to warm up, 10 min later i got in drove about 1 km and it started acting up, spuddering/jumping/vibrating... kept driving to get back home and it would stop and work good for a bit then back to acting up! Engine light was on and i tried code reader but wont let me connect, i will try again tomorrow. Dose anyone know any solutions, checks, regular problems that may cause this to happen?? Thanks!

Sounds like a sensor, We need that code to be able to narrow it down. The issue with our trucks is they are ODB2 compatible but not compliant. That means you have the plug but still need the special software to read it right

You could try a new CPS (crank position sensor) but that doesnt sound like the issue. If its what I make of what you are describing its a miss. Mine was an IDM when it did that. Runs fine then all of a sudden acts like it loses a cylinder. A few key cycles and its fine again for how ever long

Trucks and parts............
