98 Tank sending unit
We have a 98 e350 PSD ambulance. The tank sending unit has been replaced twice (new units, motorcraft). The gauge continues to read as full 24/7.
1. How can I test the unit to be sure correct data is going to the gauge? 2. How can I tell if the fault is in the gauge? Thanks for the input or thoughts. |

on a 98 with all guages. had two in my fleet that did the same thing....had to replace the cluster in both of them. remove cluster and sent it in to be tested/checked....at some place in carrollton,tx. they said it would require a new cluster... and problem was fixed.

Thanks for the reply. I wanted to avoid that cost and down time to the ambulance but if I have to I have to.
