Sure hope someone can help - This Ford cranks beautifully when cold, or in the morning when I first get in it - but after being driven for five or ten miles and shutting it off, usually for about 30 minutes or so, it hesitates to crank again: whining for a minute before it "catches" and cranks. What could be the cause and what is the remedy?
Thanks.

Are you saying that the engine doesn't fire while cranking, or that the starter won't even turn the engine over?
