leaky fuel tank?

I just noticed the other day that when i fill my 95 psd up it leaks like a beepbeepbeepbeepbeep, the fuel is hitting the shield and coming out on all sides of the rear tank and the front one does the same, my guess was if it was at the top of the tank do the sending units rot out usually on these trucks and or do the lines go bad ? the truck still runs good though so i didnt think it was the lines HELP its drivng me nuts.
