mine has been on constantly for about a month now. i think it could be the sensor. i am not worried about it though cause as long as the breakes work im fine.

since these are trucks there is a good posibility that the tone ring has a ton of dirt and or grease on it making it an ideal area for metal shavings and such to collect and send false signals. i would check for clean, square, undamaged teeth on the ring and wipe the magnet clean also. i assume this has a 3 channel abs so check each front wheel and the sensor should be in the differential which would only allow you check the magnet. i would assume you will find something on the rear sensor since you said it is a 94 with a hard life. this could turn out to be a free 15 minute fix. hope it helps.

you could get into some braking trouble if you dont reapir it soon. my ABS went out completely when my sensor went out. if it cant read correctly, it wont brake correctly. IMO you should fix it.

how much do the sensors go for? im sure they will be no project to replace. its just now to the point where this truck isn't even making the money to repair it.

if your abs light is blinking or is on you still have brakes but not anti-lock. it is designed like that for a saftey backup. you might be able to count the blinks for a code before you go and throw parts at it. i would hate to see you spend your money on a part or parts hoping that it will fix it.
