BAD PCM?

Alright im new with this website so i hope im posting this in the right area. I got a 95 f250 PSD with a built E4OD. TS 6 position 4inch exhaust ,AFE intake. I was driving home after putting a master cylinder in her soon as i left the driveway the check engine light came on. the truck was running fine so i kept driving. about 15 miles later it started running crappy. so i pulled over and unplugged the chip. i fired right up and ran fine, drove it home. went to start it the next morning and got real rough idle for about 60 seconds then it cut off.no check engine light

Does the WTS light come on?
Does the tach move as you crank it?
Any smoke while you crank it?

Do you have a scanner or laptop program (AE) that will communicate with the OBS?
