e brake stripped out

my dad is a stupid a** and he stands on the parking brake and pushes it down way to far and now its stripped out how do i fix it

Junk yard and replace the mechanism. If it is like a car it should not be to hard. A few bolts and disconnect of the e-brake cable. By the way the old style e-brake pedals u need to put some good pressure on them to get it tight. I find myself doing it every once in a while.

its a foot clutch and he pushes it way tighter than you need it and half the time it wont engage any more. he does the same on my moms new jeep and it pisses her off

sounds like he needs a center pull than.
