CPS Right?

I was leaving my buddies house after helping him put an alternator on yesterday and I got on it pretty good leaving. Suddenly my truck died and didn't seem to want to restart. So, I thought it was the 10K mod come loose. I took it off and she fired back up. Last night comming home from the bowling alley, my truck started stumbling real bad and died as I got home. My first thought now is the CPS needs replacing?
