intermittent starting/stalling

Help! Have a problem with our F-350 Powerstroke 7.3, replaced the gloplug relay, batteries, fuel filter, replaced cps twice, ran ok for a day then intermittent stalling & not starting again. When wait to start light comes on, truck starts. Yesterday, wts light flickered then truck died. Today-it runs? Have a 3rd cps to put in but want to know, How do you check the wiring for a short? Thanks for the help!
Just started truck, drove out the driveway, stalled, started it again, ran for 40 minutes & now starts every try? Can't trust it-must be a short or something wrong somewhere. Will try to get to a shop to check codes-meantime, any other ideas?

i can understand not wanting to take it to the dealer , but with what you spent already you could have already paid some one to diag it correctly , two things i would check on a 97 model, the ipr connector can get fuel soaked and cause a similiar concern, and also the fuel heater inside the fuel bowl may be trying to short out that also can cause your problem
