fender removal problem... I must be an idiot

Hey guys

I have the awesome obs fender wheel well rust.

I have a new fender and I can't get the old one off. All bolts are off headlight out its just hanging but stuck around the front headlight where the two pegs are hooked on the fender. What am I missing? Anyone know a video? Thanks. Do I have to take the whole front end off meaning the black plastic/core support?

Check the mounting holes on the replacement fender against the truck . You could be missing the hidden fastner

There is a bolt in the crack where the door and fender meet! Did you pull those?

Yes got those. Everything from the rear to front good. I can pull fender completely out, I just can't get it unhooked from the front begone the headlight housing. It's stuck there. The red pins and black housing and the black plastic starlike snap.

Your suppossed to push it forward and kind of swing it out I think. It's just hooked in. And can't get it far enough without worrying about breaking something plastic on headlight stuff.

Driving me nuts. Maybe a second look will help.

I think when i did my old truck i had to loosen up the core support to get those front pins out and she finally came out! I was in the same boat untill i freed up the core support!
