fuel pump bad?

94.5 7.3 turbo. i have replaced the glow plugs, gpr, uvcw an gaskets, cps, fuel bowl housing an pump in the vally with new lines between the pump an fuel bowl. truck kinda stumbled to day like it was losing fuel. so drove it a little later an its like no power pulled over an reved it up an it wouldnt rev up like there was sumthing blocking the fuel line. turned off truck opened hood an made sure the plugs were pluged in on the valve covers. cranked truck back up an it ran fine. it looks like there is an electric fuel pump on the inside of the driver side frame rail but im not sure. i wonder if its goint bad. can anybody help

Unless someone put in an electric pump, there wouldn't be one on that truck from the factory (are you thinking of the transfer valve?). There is only the mechanical two-stage pump in the valley. Does it have the same problem regardless of what tank it is switched to? Cheers!

When mine started to go bad it started leaking fuel into the valley. It has a weep hole on the fuel pump. I d look in the valley see if its wet.

You could have a problem in the tank with the pickup (that's why I asked about the switch). What is the fuel pressure while cranking? If it idles, what is the pressure at idle? Cheers!

25 psi minimum while cranking with a minimum 100 rpm crank speed. Fuel pressure while idling should be at least 40 psi. Cheers!
