1st and 2nd gen parts interchange.

Hey everyone! I have a 95 f250 and my hpop is finally not able to keep up with my 160cc injectors so I'm looking to do a reservoir swap and mod my timing cover to accept the 96+ covers. I found a reservoir off a 2000 (I believe) 7.3. I'm wondering if it will bolt up to my 7.3s timing cover. Any experience with swapping parts between these engines?
Thanks
Paul

Does Joey put new internals in the pump or just mod the pump to output more? That's my deal is my hpop is worn out bad! That's why I want to mod my cover and just put an SD pump in it.

i bought a 17* (SD HPOP) from another member and sent him both my pumps. i asked him what happens if the 17* i bought is bad. he told me dont worry about it he will take take of it.

send him a email and talk to him. email is the only way to get ahold of him. he checks his email STUPID early in the morning so dont think he is blowing you off.

here is his contact. Joey@TerminatorEngineering.com

Quick question. I have a 97 with an early 99 17* hpop. Will it just bolt up? Im doing this Friday and hope I don't have to mod timing cover. It'll set me back longer then planned

cover mods are for the 94.5 and 95 trucks. i could be wrong but IIRC the E99 SD had a 15* HPOP. but 96-03 trucks are direct interchange.

Any of you fellas ever heard of the search function? LOL
Joey at Terminator Engineering can make your 15 flow more than a stock 17 and he can work around the bypass issue on the 94.5-95. Go to his website and shoot him an email or give him a call, I know he's busy as heck right now but he can set you up.
Jerzy, yes you can bolt the stock 17 onto your 97.
