What the hell is that noise!?!

Hey all, I have owned my 1995 f-250 7.3 now for about a year and a half, and this whole time I have been trying to track down this noise that is coming from the front drives side of the truck, at first it was a quite little chirping noise, now it has gotten much worse and sounds as if somebody put a decent sized bell somewhere in the truck and as I am driving around and hitting bumps on these wonderfully paved roads near me, its the jingling and driving me insane! Now suddenly, it has gotten me a bit concerned, now on top of the jingleing, it has created this wierd sort of hollow rattle that is quite loud and I can feel it in my left foot right where the clutch would be if it were an automatic, both have gotten me concerned, obviously something was loose when I bought the truck and is most definately not fixing itself! Has anybody had this before? What was it?

i got that same jingling noise in my 95 truck. sound like the salvation army guy is in my bed ringing that bell wanting my pocket change

excellent way to describe it!!!! unfortunately I keep donating my pocket change into to truck to try to find out where that noise is coming from. were you able to diagnose where it was coming from? it sure is getting annoying! if not, I can live with the jingles, but I really am a little concerned about whatever is rattling against the firewall, even if it is nothing major it sure would add some piece of mind to know that the front end isn't falling apart on me

Not sure if its the same thing but I had bump/thump in my fire wall and from time to time some noise from the same area. Mine turned out to be bad radius arm bushings. They werent totally gone but were pretty bad off. Replaced mine, greased them up good and no more thumps or noise.

I bet You're right. I just got done replacing everything on my front end except the radius arm bushings and I am getting a similar noise as well. That's the next project for me

Its not a brake caliper bolt is it?? They are easy to overlook.
