power steering problem

The past week or so ive had trouble with my steering. When I felt something was wrong I was going around a turn it acted like it didn't want to straighten it's self back up and it getting a little hard to steer, so I looked and I was leaking power steering fluid, well come to found out I had to much in it and it started pushing out. It's not leaking anymore but it's still hard to turn and feel's like your driving in a rut when your going down the road, could this be the pump or the gearbox?? thanks
