So when im going down the road when i let off the throttle and press it again there is a lil bit of a delay maybe a quarter to an eighth second delay then it goes. Any ideas what it could be?

There are two electrical items that are part of the pedal assembly: The Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) and the Idle Validation Switch (IVS). You might disconnect the IVS (2-wire connector) and check to see how the switch is closing. Does it close just off idle or does it close with a bit more pedal movement required? You can also try spraying it with some electrical contact cleaner to see if that helps (have it disconnected when you do this). Cheers!

Just because something is clicking doesn't mean that it is actually functioning. You need to test it. Cheers!
