95 7.3 one issue after another wont stay running

1995 F250 7.3 300,000 miles
Howdy y'all, been following the forums for a few years and y'all have always been a great help, finally had an issue I had to get y'alls help on.

Buddy of mine has been borrowing for a few months no problems, then it won't start when hot. Starts fine when cold just won't start hot.

No codes
Fuel psi 35-40
Replaced IPR
Checked HPOP psi 3000+....checked with two different gauges jumps almost straight UP to 2500 then climbs to a little over 3000.

So after that everything seemed ok...two days later battery is dead, happens every morning. Multimeter doesn't show any draw, one new battery other checks ok. Multimeter is cheap and unreliable ill get a better one. Now as he is driving it will loose power and CEL comes on them when you let off throttle it idles ok but still drives sluggish, if it dies it won't start again until cool.

I would be looking at possible bad injector O-rings. If the top set of O-rings have gone bad, you will see oil leaking out around the base of the injectors (obviously with Valvecovers off). Is there any oil in the ICP connection? Cheers!

Alrighty I will pull valve covers when I get some time. Anything else I should check while I'm down there? Replaced injector wiring harness a few months ago.
There is oil on ICP connector but still won't run with it unplugged.

Just realized you have to order IPR o rings separate....so the new one has no o rings but HPOP psi still 3k+?

I've never bought an IPR new, but I would figure it would have new o-rings on it already. Cheers!
