The ebpv is sticking, the plug for it is under the turbo inlet. Most people just unplug it and forget about it

also i am haveing a brake pedal issue very stiff brake pedal. and the red brake light is on but it goes off from time to time, when its on cruse will not work when its off cruse does work. the truck has all new lines and calipers and wheel cylinders. vacum related? is their any way to test the pump?

For the light itself make sure the E brake pedal is all the way up, and hard pedal is usually bad vac somewhere, booster possibly, I dont think there is any way to test the pump

Stiff pedal + brake warning light ==> most likely bad vacuum pump. Yes, you can test the pump - put a vacuum gauge on it.
