cold start up issue

Alright started dping this a week ago. And its yrully annoyinh frist start up of the day it fires right up even today in -6 degree weather. And when it starts it idels ay about 900 to 1000 rpms and the exhaust blows a little whit for about 5 mins then clears up but the exhaust makes a loud whisteling sound almodt jet engine like and once its warm it stops and dosent do it agian untill i let it sit over night but latly it has been doing it after every shut off even for 1 min its like the compiter goes through otd warm up process after ebery key cycle and its annoying please if anyone has had this issue please let me know i need to get this fixed

The ebpv is sticking, the plug for it is under the turbo inlet. Most people just unplug it and forget about it

also i am haveing a brake pedal issue very stiff brake pedal. and the red brake light is on but it goes off from time to time, when its on cruse will not work when its off cruse does work. the truck has all new lines and calipers and wheel cylinders. vacum related? is their any way to test the pump?

For the light itself make sure the E brake pedal is all the way up, and hard pedal is usually bad vac somewhere, booster possibly, I dont think there is any way to test the pump

Stiff pedal + brake warning light ==> most likely bad vacuum pump. Yes, you can test the pump - put a vacuum gauge on it.
