Right turn singal and reving

My problem is that if I am going over 40mph with my foot on the pedal and turn my right turn signal on, it revs my motor. There is no increase in speed and does not do it when I have no pressure on the pedal. When I turn the singal on and then off it keeps reving for about a sec after I have turn the singal off. I have tryed replaceing the turn singal switch and it did nothing. Anyone have any suggestions?

Sounds like your trannie is sucking in air from the bottom of the filter instead of fluid. Check your trans fluid level, it could be low and sloshing to one side when you turn. Will it do it when you just turn without your signal on? I'm not sure how the two could be related if it isn't low fluid or something.

That's so strange, I don't know what direction to point you in. It could be a short somewhere.

I had or occacionally have the same type off issue, when I turn my right turn signal on, say to change lanes driving at freeway speeds, the truck seems to "lag." but only seemingly when I turn the right turn signal on.. when i turned it off, it stopped the "lag."

Did you check you tail light bulbs, sounds weird, but my buddy had the TC unlock/signal problem, and a rear signal bulb was burned out.
