help on glow plugs

ordered new glow plugs and valve cover gaskets but i have not performed this task yet can anyone help me like step by step any help thanx

Hopefully the plugs are Motorcraft/Beru and not Autolite (which have been known to have the tips swell). Generally the main part is figuring out what needs to come off to remove the valvecovers (It's actually very basic stuff for that part). Once that is done, use a 1/4"-drive 10mm deepwell socket to loosen the glowplugs (after unhooking the wiring). I like to tape the socket to the extension I'm using to avoid it falling off into the depths of the head (don't ask how I know). After the plug is loosened, I use a piece of fuel line over the end of the plug to spin it out and remove it. Pretty basic stuff!
