$900 dollar question?

Well i finally got my truck scanned. code came back IDM faliure..grrrr... 1997 f250
some poeple that i have talked to, tell me that i could use a used IDM from any powerstroke year modle 94.5 through 2003.

the dealer $900
brand new second hand bout $200
can i use a salvage yard IDM?

Injector driver Module, It tells the injecotrs what the heck to do, like when to fire and how long to stay open for. What year is the truck with the "bad" IDM?

Injector Drive Module... I believe.. and I would say that you can... I am gonna be dong the IDM MOD to my truck soon... talked to a guy that says it does give u a little more power and for how cheap it is.. you can't really beat it... but I wouldn't buy anything from a dealer unless you had to.. they are almost all the time most expensive out there..
