Bed mounts

Just bought my truck on Wednesday. Truck has a little rust on the body, but come spring time ill have it taken care of. But before buying the truck i thought i looked over it as much as possible, but obviously after you buy it you find out more stuff about it.

one of the c channels mounting the bed to the frame is rotted out.



Whats my best bet to fix this, do they sell replacements, or just pick up a thin guage tube steel and weld it in there. The other 3 look perfect this one is just a mess on both sides.

I'd pull the bed, clean it up, and stitch weld some new channel in there.

ALthough, if I remember right, couldn't you use one of the other rails that isn't bolted?

To my knowlendge they are all bolted
