losing all power during acceleration and blowing white smoke

So I have had this issue before and I thought it was an electrical short. The only thing i found was that my valve cover gasket had shorted out in the relay for the glow plugs. I replaced it and it was driving fine until last week. During acceleration i loose all power and the truck shuts down. I have found a small fuel leak coming from a connector in my fuel filter housing. I am purchasing a ADII to replace the stock setup. Is there anything else i can check? I am located about 75 miles from the nearest Deisel Mech and cant really afford a tow truck to get a full diagnostic done.

Happens constantly now that it started? Idle through regular driving or only during accel.? Only on first start-up cold? Do you have aftermarket gauges in the truck? What are they reading when this happens? Are all fluids clean and full? Are you still making boost? Did you here a good POP before the trouble happened? What are your MODS?

There are no after market mods it's a stock 7.3. And it's happening randomly it could be first cold start or after running for fifteen min. But every time I fire her up it happens. The are no popping noises but she is idling a lot rougher than normal

What year is the truck? Is the check engine light on? Did you check all your fluids? How many miles on the truck?

I'm thinking a bad IPR, worn HPOP, or stuck open injector.

Do you, or a friend, have a have a scanner to look for codes while this is happening?
