HARD TO START ACTS LIKE ITS MISSING

I own a 95 7.3 pwerstroke that is hard to start and acts like its missing going down the road. I replaced the glow plugs over the weekend along with the cps and the problem may have gotten worse. no check engine light. wts lights up everytime. please advise. thanks

I replaced one of them because when taking it off had busted the clamp, upon further inspection the plug had actually melted a little on the outside 2 wires in the actual plug in. i saw after you suggested it how to test them by unpluggin to see if there is a difference in the motor or not. Is that how you would suggest testing it? thank you for the response.

You can. If all the wires are bad then it'll run the same, but if only one or two are bad, it might run worse.
If the pins are burnt on the outside valve cover side of the harness, I'd replace the pigtail.
RiffRaff, Strictly Diesel, and other places sell that pigtail.

Went out and checked the connections by pulling out the pigtail from the vcg and all acted the same. pulled it out and engine started running rough plug back in back to rough idle. wondering if the CPS I installed may be faulty.
