17* HPOP for my OBS

I am going to replace the HPOP on my 7.3. Where is the cheapest place to get a 17* SD HPOP? I have been told that this is better then the 15* that is on there now. I want to replace all of the O-rings and seals on anything that has a habbit of leaking on the 7.3's. Is there anything else I should replace while its tore apart? Are there any modifacations needed to change to a SD pump? Sorry for all of the questions, I just want to make sure I do it right the first time....

ebay you can get em fro under $200. I havent priced em out from a junk yard yet but I believe their over $800 bucks new from ford

Is this the 17* pump? It says SD

yes all the 99+ 7.3 litres had the 17* pump you might also instal a High preasure oil rail cross over tube in too. its suposed to help the obs trucks out equalizing the high preasure oil in each head.
hopefully some one will confirm this for me but I believe that you have to move the fuel/water seperator (fuel filter housing) to make room for the superduty pump. other than that its suposed to be a direct bolt up.

whats the internal diffeence in the 15* and 17* hpop...differnt springs, etc...anyone know?

i have done both the superduty HPOP and the high pressure line crossover and think its money well spent on both items. i got my HPOP fromt he ford dealer because that way i knew that it was good and right, it came with all new o-rings and the metal gaskets. no u do not have to relocat the fuel/water seperator at all. also id recomend a blue CPS also if ur looking to make ur truck run smoother and quieter. they r expensive but they too to me r worth the money. i have done ALOT of work to my truck since ive had it and have learned that if ur gonna do it go ahead and bite the bullet and do it right cuz itll bite u right in the A$$ if u dont.

I think (from what I have read) that the 17* has a different swash plate to pump a larger volume of oil
