engine misses

i'd been having a lot of trouble with my truck missing while i was driving so i replaced the cam sensor and the problem totaly went away for a week then it started to miss again so figured maybe something was burning out the sensor and id just replace it again till i figured it out, well i replaced it and it was way worse so i figured they sold me a bad sensor so i put the old one back in and drove to get another one replaced it again and same thing way worse, i put the old sensor back in and it only misses every once in a while with the old sensor in
i find it unlikely they sold me 2 bad sensors in a row but i dont understand why it gets worse each time i replace it i mean the first time i'd replaced it, it got better and all 3 sensor were the same part number no difference between them
anyone have a clue?

Can be CPS, ICP, UVCHs, and other things.

I was not having any problems but I decided to replace my CPS because I had read that the originals tend to go bad whenever. I bought one made by Standard, as soon as I started it, it was missing bad. Exchanged that one for another, same miss and worse at times, it even stalled at one point. Took it out and put the original ford back in. Back to normal.
Stay away from Standard.

yeah the same thing with me except i replaced it with the exact same sensor then again because i thought they sold me a bad sensor then same thing put the original back in (not the original original but the one that was in there before) and it was fine. Thats just got me baffeled, but i ordered one off the internet that says it supposed to fix the problem, if that doesnt do it i think i'm just giving up i'll just live with it

Get the sensor directly from International or Ford......best ones to buy
