Rear Fuel Tank Lines Remove

I have a leak in my rear fuel tank on my 95 F-250 PSD. I have the tank lowered enough to get to the fuel lines for disconnecting. I am trying to get the fuel lines apart. I got the clips off so now what is the trick to disconnect? Is there a special tool that I should get? Thanks.

Mine is a 2003 and all that I had to due was push on the blue or white collar that was shown and pull apart. Most of h time if it is before the pump you do not need a tool to discount. Usually only on the high pressure side.

Yours would be a bit different due to the electric fuel on an 03.

Yep, my local NAPA store had it. I will get this tank out tonite. Now I have to look to see what a new tank cost or repair mine. I have a spot that rusted out.

A new tank should be cheaper than trying to repair your old one. Don't forget to order straps with it.
